After watching Marineford arc again and then reading the manga to double check, I wanted to share some thoughts and wanted to know what you think about this. Why was Jewelry Bonney crying? We first see her crying after Squardo stabbed Whitebeard and I'm wondering if maybe she's related to Squardo in a way (daughter/sister/girlfriend) or maybe even Whitebeard. After the war we know she can't forgive Blackbeard and Akainu.
It's clear (to me) why she can't forgive Blackbeard, but what about Akainu? Is it because she knew/understood he was the one who manipulated Squardo into stabbing Whitebeard?
Anyway it's just a theory without any proof, let me know what you think, if it makes sense or not / if it sounds stupid. Thank you for reading!

I get the feeling Bonney is much older than she appears. Just being captured by Akainu and used as a bargaining chip by Blackbeard proves she not a typical pirate. It makes sense that if she's old she knows things the government want to keep secret. Hell, she may be the only person other than Roger's crew who knows what One Piece is.

But, I wouldn't be surprised if it was deeper than that. This is going in crazy theory territory but what if Bonney is so old she was alive during the Void Century? Imagine the knowledge bomb we'd get if her and Robin ever meet.

One Piece 903 Spoilers According to the spoilers for One Piece Chapter 903, we’re actually taking a detour to the Reverie arc, which will be the next focus in the One Piece manga. So all those who wanted to see Wano will have to wait.
We have a new arc in progress here, and it might take about 20 chapters to wrap it up. The Reverie is basically a meeting that will take place at the Holy Land of Mariejois. This event takes place only once every four years, and all the major Kingdoms that are allied with the World Government are present here. They basically talk about different things that happen in the world of One Piece. So yeah, it does sound boring. But, here’s why you should think about it again, and give the arc a chance before moaning about it.

First of all, the Admirals are present at the Reverie. The chances of Ryokugyu showing up here are pretty huge, and it think that he’ll turn up. Secondly, we may get to see the Shichibukai system getting abolished. This is because of what Crocodile did to Alabasta, and what Doflamingo did to Dressrosa will come into focus here, without any doubts.
